Adding your first Blastnes module

Assuming you've already authorised Blastnes on your Lodgify account, activating your first module takes about twelve minutes end to end. We'll use Guest Message Templates as the example because it's the most-installed module and touches the parts of Lodgify most hosts already know well.

1. Pick the module from the catalogue

Open the catalogue, click Guest Message Templates for Lodgify. Read the product page — specifically, note which Lodgify endpoints it uses (Bookings, Guests, Guest Messaging). If those endpoints are already authorised on your account (they should be if you followed step 4 of the API setup guide), the "Add to cart" button is live. Add, and open your cart.

2. Checkout

The cart drawer shows the 14 €/month subscription. Click Checkout. You'll be asked for contact name, invoice email and billing party (individual, company, or agency). Company billers see a VAT field — enter your intracommunity VAT ID to be invoiced at 0% under Art. 262 ter I. Accept the terms, click Place order.

3. Configure the module

You land in your account with a "Configure Guest Message Templates" prompt. Choose which templates from the 50+ library go live: pre-arrival, check-in day, mid-stay, review nudge. Map each to a Lodgify unit type (Standard, Premium, Deluxe — whatever your naming). Pick languages: English, French, Italian, Spanish, or a mix triggered by the guest's language preference read from Lodgify.

4. Preview each template

Every template has a preview button that renders it with a fake booking. Check the wording, edit anything you want to change (edit doesn't break the trigger logic). Once satisfied, click "Go live" on each template.

5. Watch the first send

The module immediately queues the next scheduled trigger — usually a pre-arrival 72-hour reminder for the closest upcoming booking. You can watch the queue in Account → Modules → Guest Message Templates → Queue. Within a minute or two the message posts through the Lodgify Guest Messaging endpoint and appears in your Lodgify inbox alongside all your other guest messages. Reply goes to you as normal.

6. Trial period countdown

The 14-day trial begins on activation. You'll see a countdown in the module row. If you haven't confirmed the subscription by the end of day 14, the module simply stops queueing new messages — no charge, no closing task. If you like it, do nothing: the subscription confirms itself on day 15 and first invoice lands on the 1st of the following month.
